After identifying the need for an enjoyable seafood shopping experience, we established Seacore Unlimited Food Market in 2021 in the coastal town of Swakopmund. We bring world renowned local quality to your plate, while also bridging the gap between the retail shopper and wholesale prices.

We’re located on the doorstep of one of the world’s best fishing grounds, the Atlantic ocean. This allows us to source the best seafood Namibia has to offer. Come visit us at 39 Mandume Ndemufayo Str.

Seacore helps with sourcing, facilitating and assisting customers in exporting quality seafood with all accompanying documentation. From 27 Metric Ton’s to 2 Metric Ton part loads, we do our utmost in accommodating our customers needs.

SWORDFISH STEAKS
Swordfish is a great source of selenium, a micronutrient that protects against damage and boosts heart health. Plus, it's foolproof to cook! Its mild flavour allows for easy pairing with just about any sauce or marinade. This fish tastes great grilled, braai'd fried or even on a stick. We've posted a swordfish marinade recipe online.

Bigeye Tuna - Portions & Steaks
A great source of healthy, lean protein, vitamin B6 and B12's, Big Eye Tuna is prized for its flavour and slightly higher fat content. Firm and meaty, this fish is best enjoyed medium to rare, seared briefly or grilled.
Hake fillets
Succulent, sweet and flaky. Low in fat and high in protein, this fish is an unquestionable addition to any healthy diet. Hake is staple to be enjoyed in many different ways - baked, grilled or battered and fried.
Trout Fillets
This freshwater fish is similar to salmon, with a slightly milder flavour profile. An excellent option when cooking fish due to its high omega 3 fatty acid content and low levels of mercury. Enjoy it baked or fried, but best to avoid overcooking this one.
Sole
This delectable fish has a sweet flavour and a supple, flaky yet meaty fillet. Grill it or pan sear it, but sole is best prepared in a way that lets its delicate flavour shine.
Calamari tubes
These may intimidate many home cooks, but once mastered, cooking calamari simple and easy. A good tip is to soak the tubes in milk or buttermilk for 2-3 hours. The lactic acid helps tenderise the muscle fibers and ensure succulent calamari rings. Grilled or battered and fried, the trick here is quick and high heat, resulting in the perfect bite.
Horse mackerel
Horse mackerel is slightly smaller than mackerel, with a lighter flavour. This fish offers an excellent boost of vitamins A, D, B12 and Omega-3 fatty acids. Cook on a fire for a crisp skin or enjoy smoked, salted, baked or fried.
Mackerel
Slightly bigger than horse mackerel, with a distinct sweet, salty flavour. This oily fish also boasts a range of health benefits. Full of minerals like copper, selenium, and iodine.
Jacopever
Jacopever is a great tasting fish, with firm and sweet flesh. Enjoy it pickled, smoked, salt baked, or fried. Folklore tells us this distinctive fish got its name from a Dutch sailor named Jaco Evertsen, who resembled the fish with his bulgy eyes and strikingly red face.
Alfonsino
Also known as red bream. Alfonsino have a very sweet, rich flavor, It's flesh is high in minerals, nutrients and Omega-3 oils. The fillets have a light pink color, with a firm texture and medium flake.
John Dory
A delicately delicious fish with white flesh and a firm, flaky texture. It's mild, slightly sweet flavour lends itself well to a variety of methods preparation. John Dory can be sautéed, baked, steamed, poached, or even crumbed and fried.
